TOOELE, Utah – Glenn Nixon scored the Pirelli World Challenge TCB pole for Round 13 at Miller Motorsports Park.
Points leader Johan Schwartz of Huntersville, S.C., in the No. 25 Chevrolet Sonic found speed early in the session, notching the provisional TCB pole with a 2:27.842
That wouldn’t last, however, as a lap of 2:26.962 was turned in by his Championship rival Glenn Nixon of Mission, B.C., driving the No. 58 Racing.ca LaptopScreen.com/ClubRacing.com/Nixon Prosports/HPD Honda Fit which was good enough to take pole.
Nixon’s teammate, Andrei Kisel, of North Vancouver B.C. in the No. 57 Racing.ca/LaptopScreen.com MINI Cooper qualified second after posting the fastest lap of the morning practice session. Schwartz will start third as he was able to improve his lap time to 2:27.256
